Education is the strongest antidote and vaccine against poverty.

Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala
Former Minister of Finance and the chairperson of Gavi Board

This initiative empowers out-of-school adolescent mothers due to unintended pregnancy, and allow them to make informed choices and to choose either to go back to school or sign for vocational and entrepreneurship training.
We work to revive hope in them and provide education, information and services to protect and promote their sexual and reproductive health and rights. Family planning/contraception use takes a major part of our counseling session to prepare and equip adolescent mothers to engage in healthy decisions as related to their reproductive desires and enable them to better access and use family planning services.

Annual Target - Total number of 50

SBF Empowered Girls - #RenewedHope
There were days when I almost lost hope and thought I would end up not going back to school but I am glad that SBF came to our community with Renewed Hope project. Going back to school is my greatest accomplishment.

My not going back to school has not ended my aspiration in life. SFB’s plan for me came at the right time. Everything SBF has done has increased my skills and now I am happy, I can design and make wears for people in my community to raise money and take care of my kid.
